Structure and material
CFRT stands for continuous fibre reinforced thermoplastic. Our glass fibre reinforced PP skins are consolidated onto a PP honeycomb core in a continuous lamination process. The result is a lightweight, rigid panel with excellent impact resistance, chemical resistance, and full recyclability.
Unlike thermoset FRP panels, CFRT uses a thermoplastic matrix — meaning panels can be thermoformed, welded, and edge-sealed. This offers significant advantages in secondary processing and end-of-life recycling.

Questions before ordering
What is CFRT and how is it different from FRP?
CFRT describes continuous-fibre reinforcement in a thermoplastic matrix. The GRP panels in this range use a thermoset matrix. CFRT offers recyclability, thermoformability and edge-welding that thermoset alternatives cannot match. Choose based on your surface, processing and end-of-life requirements.
Can CFRT replace plywood in my existing design?
A replacement requires a review of span, loading, attachments and allowable deflection. Send a drawing or specification and we will confirm whether the proposed CFRT panel structure meets the requirements.
Can I get a sample before ordering?
Yes. Tell us the application and target thickness so the sample represents the proposed production structure. Samples ship within 5–7 working days.
What surface finishes are available?
Three standard finishes: textured black anti-slip for vehicle flooring, smooth white for walls and ceilings, and custom laminated finishes including wood grain, metal look, and solid colors. Custom surface treatments are available for OEM projects.
