Structure and material
A GRP honeycomb panel combines thermoset glass-reinforced skins with a PP honeycomb core using a suitable adhesive system. The result is a rigid, lightweight panel with excellent surface quality and weather resistance.
GRP face sheets provide smooth, paintable surfaces with UV resistance that CFRT panels cannot match. Choose GRP when surface finish and outdoor durability are primary requirements.

Questions before ordering
What is the difference between GRP and FRP?
GRP means glass-reinforced plastic. FRP is the broader term for fibre-reinforced plastic. In this range they describe the same face-sheet technology — thermoset resin reinforced with glass fibre.
Can I specify different finishes for each face?
Yes. Specify the requirements for the inside and outside separately. We will review the proposed construction and confirm what is practical for the application.
How does GRP compare to CFRT for outdoor use?
GRP panels offer superior UV resistance and surface finish for outdoor applications. CFRT panels offer recyclability and thermoformability. Choose based on your surface, processing and end-of-life requirements.
